DeleteIt's sad that people would believe and share things like this with others. When my mother found out that we feed our dogs a raw food diet, she thought they'd go wild and kill us. I didn't bother trying to change her mind. Maybe this means she won't visit :)
ReplyDeleteI guess i shared this myths to let people know what other humans think about dogs, maybe by knowing this things are only myths they will stop believing in this crazy things

DeleteThese are all absolutely crazy but unfortunately, I have heard them all before except for number one. That is a new one and may win as the craziest myth I've ever heard.
ReplyDeleteI own a pittbull and am constantly fighting with BSL issues along with the rotten and unfounded reputation these dogs have so that would be the one the irks me the most. I have often accused my Nadie of being too smart for her own good but I do not worry about her brains becoming too big and exploding!
I wish I could have failth that no one believes these myths but after 15 years in rescue, I know different. Seven and eight are the two I have the hardest time educating people about. They are not JUST animals ... they are family members!
Thanks for insightful and informative post!
